Easter Angles and Baby Bunnies

Kim added so much detail in creating this special 6x6 easel card and gift box, a written description could not do it justice; so hope you enjoy these pics.

This is the front of the card in a color palette of rosy pinks and pastel yellows. The background has been shimmered in colored glitter to add a heavenly, serene feel.

The card's precious angel babies have been cut multiple times, layered and pop dotted to give them dimension. Their halos are loose and floating and have been embossed in gold and glittered. Real cording has been added to our baby boy's robe.

The angles' wings have touches of real white feathers and are topped with a translucent vellum, then shimmered and glittered for that ethereal feel.

Glossy Accents have been added to the angels' and bunnies' eyes, and they are all in a bed of real moss. Touches of flocking have been added to the bunnies for added softness.

Cascades of mulberry flowers in coordinating rosy pinks, soft yellows and white beautifully frame our Easter angels.

The inside of the card has a printed Happy Easter sentiment with additional bunnies on a bed of moss that are display when the card is sitting in the easel position.

There is also space inside the card for a personal note.

This card is such a lovely gift, no ordinary box or envelope will do, so our card has a coordinating gift box featuring our little bunnies in a field of matching mulberry flowers.

The box is 1-1/2" deep, and the edges of the box top have been punched in a dainty floral pattern.

Thanks for visiting our blog. Hope you enjoy our work. Please feel free to leave any comments. We are always looking for inspiration.

Easter Baskets N' Bunnies Mini Album and Gift Box

Hey, y'all! Well, Jeannene is branching out. Instead of cards and gift boxes, she has made this precious 3.5" x 5.25" Easter mini paper bag scrapbook album! She used a bold, spring palette of oranges, pinks, greens and whites. This album would be perfect for putting in Easter baskets or remembering special Easter festivities. The album has been put together with a sturdy wire binding, and then coordinating ribbons have been added for whimsy. The album has 18 pages (front and back) so it holds lots of photos. It also has six side openings for additional photos, notes or keepsakes. There are three pull-out tags just perfect for journalling. The side of the paper bag album has a lacy heart edging. Since this is a small album, Jeannene added just enough 3D Easter accents, charms and flowers to highlight the photos mats without overwhelming them. And that's not all -- this adorable mini album comes with gift box with a matching lacy edging and a coordinating Easter theme. These adorabe images and coordinating papers are by Nit-Wit. Easter Blessings!

In anticipation of Easter, Kim made this adorable easel card and gift box featuring a Precious Moments little boy discovering a surprise in his Easter egg.

The sentiment on the front of the card is accented with a lavender gingham bow and a heart shaped button.

The card is framed by an intricate, lacy punch, then triple matted in lavenders and greens.

The image's mat has been distressed, chalked and pop dotted. The Precious Moments little boy has been cut out multiple times and pop dotted to give the image a 3D look. Real moss has been added under the little boy, and his Easter basket is overflowing with 3D sparkling Easter eggs. Shimmer and crystals have been added for just the right highlights.

Inside the card is a lovely sentiment which shows when the card is in the easel position. There is also space inside the card for you to add you own note.

The card comes with a coordinating gift box wishing the recipient a Happy Easter.

It's Spring Cleaning Time!

Happy April Fool's Day!

Now that spring has sprung, we have decided to do some serious cleaning out. Over the past couple of years, we have participated in several local craft fairs. We sold quite a bit of handmade cards, card sets, scrapbook pages, etc., but found that we have about a dozen layouts that we haven't yet sold. So we are putting them on Ebay. Even if we only get back the few dollars we actually spent on the materials for these layouts, at least we won't be using up storage space. Plus, we can use that money to get new stuff!

Since it's been a while since our last post, we thought we would share these layouts and maybe pass on a little inspiration. Now keep in mind these layouts are old and there are so many new styles and techniques, but maybe getting back to the basics will remind you of a layout you had planned to do but never got around to it! We will post more over the weekend. Enjoy!
