Wedding Card & Box

WISH US LUCK -- we're about to take our work on the road! Thanks to all of your wonderful and encouraging comments and compliments from recipients of our work, ScrappyLegg has decided to put a few things up for sell on Ebay later this week and see what happens.

This beautiful wedding easel card and gift box that Jeannene handmade will be one of our first items we will put on Ebay. The soft yellow and rosy pink color palette are perfect for any upcoming spring or summer wedding.

The card measures 5" x 5".

The decoupage wedding couple highlighted on the card has been cut out multiple times and built up to give them a three-dimensional quality. A light glitter pen has been used on the bride's dress, veil and bouquet to add just the right amount of shine and sparkle.

Mulberry and fabric roses and swirls of pearls are the perfect frame for our vintage couple.

The inside of the card has a thoughtful sentiment and a spray of matching flowers that are displayed when in the easel position.

So that the card lays correctly when closed, a fold has been added to the top of the card to accommodate the raised sentiment and flowers that are on the inside of the card.

The coordinating gift box has a matching floral spray and more swirls of pearls.

The sides of the box have been scalloped and the edges have been tinted to bring out the decorative edge. The box's one-inch thickness holds the card with room to spare in case you want to add a small gift.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in this beautiful wedding card and gift box, please tell them to check us out on Ebay. Our Ebay name is "scrappylegg".

Cinderella Princess Scrapbook Layout

Jeannene was asked by a friend and co-worker to custom design a scrapbook layout for her newborn niece, DeAnna. Jeannene was given a picture of this Cinderella-inspired comforter, and was asked to create a layout that was to be framed and hung in the baby's nursery. She was also asked to make the layout less cartoon looking and more understated and elegant so that the wall-art could grow with DeAnna.

This is the beautiful layout that Jeannene designed especially for Princess DeAnna, coordinating the deep eggplant and rosy pinks from the comforter.

This is a close-up of the left-hand page.

The page is framed with a gorgeous vine of deep purple mulberry flowers and lavender crystals.

Cinderella and her horse-drawn carriage run across the bottom of the page on their way to the castle for the royal ball. The carriage and horsemen were changed from their original blues to match the layout's color scheme.

The photo mat holds a 4"x6" picture and is framed by pink mulberry flowers.

This is a close-up of the right-hand page.

This page features the castle that includes the all-important clock over the drawbridge. Moss and FlowerSoft create three-dimensional hedges.

And what ball would be complete without festive fireworks to light the night sky. Jeannene even added a silver Tinkerbell charm among the fireworks.

The two photo mats are accented with pink mulberry flowers and a pink crown charm.

A title mat announces Princess DeAnna with a hint of the deep purple mulberry flower vine, fireworks and a silver slipper charm so there is no doubt that royalty has arrived in this nursery.

Best wishes to DeAnna, and may she sleep like a princess.

Handmade Wedding Card

It's GREAT to be back!! This is an easel card and gift box that Kim made for her niece. The card and box have a base of beautiful white velvet paper and is accented with silver and lavender which were inspired by a Best Creation wedding paper.

This is the front of the card. Kim shimmered the sentiment to give it a dressier feel and added pearls and Stickles for sparkle. A stick pin of pearls, a silver heart charm and silver wedding rings added the finishing touches.

The card is at its best sitting in the easel position, revealing an additional sentiment to the couple and additional flowers and pearls. The inside of the card also includes a private message that is not visible when displayed in the easel position.

The card is a gift by itself, but the matching gift box not only holds the card but has enough room for a gift card, frame, jewelry or other small gift. Kim added a scalloped edge to the white velvet box top and contrasted the bottom in lavender.

The top of the box is almost as beautiful as the card with the same flowers and pearls. Kim added another stick pin, a silver bride and groom charm and a glass heart inscribed with Mr. and Mrs.
